Getting Hired
Our hiring process is designed to feel calm, transparent, and emotionally supportive. We want you to understand every step from the beginning, and we want you to feel respected throughout the journey.
We hire with intention — slowly, thoughtfully, and with genuine curiosity about who you are.
Our goal is to create long-term careers, not temporary placements, so our process reflects that level of care.
Here’s what you can expect:
1. Initial Submission
You’ll be invited to submit two out of three of the following:
• a short introduction about yourself
• a résumé or portfolio
• a few photos or examples of your work
This first step simply helps us understand how you express yourself and where your interests lie.
2. Alignment & Compatibility Assessment
If we feel there may be a place for you, we’ll send you an online assessment.
This is not a test of skill — it’s a gentle tool to understand your natural tendencies, what environments you thrive in, and how you might fit within the team as a whole.
This assessment helps us support you better if we move forward.
3. Group Tour & Meet + Greet
Qualified applicants are invited to a small group tour of the salon.
You’ll meet Aubree, experience the space, understand the neighborhood, and get a feel for the culture.
This step is warm and welcoming — no pressure, just connection.
4. Personal 1:1 Conversation
After the group tour, you’ll receive a call from Aubree.
This conversation is relaxed and focused on your long-term goals, strengths, and what you truly want in a career.
It’s your moment to ask deeper questions and to see if our values align.
5. Practical Skills Day
If everything feels aligned, you’ll be invited to a practical day in the salon.
This is not about perfection — it’s about understanding your timing, your attention to detail, your communication style, and where you shine.
We’ll also look at how coachable, collaborative, and present you feel in the space.
6. Your Customized Offer
If we feel a mutual fit, we’ll create a personalized offer for you — built around your strengths, your nature, and the type of career you want to grow into.
Compensation, benefits, and KPIs are aligned with your goals, not a one-size-fits-all model.
